AWNING & CASEMENT WINDOWS
Altherm awing and casement windows have been the popular choice of both designers and home owners for over two decades. Their strength, performance and superior good looks have always appealed to the discerning.

In-Built Strength
All Altherm sashes are made from strong box section profiles.
That means that they don't twist and flex when you open or close them.

Clean Appearance
Altherm's use of pressure-fit glazing means that there are usually no black glazing wedges visible from the exterior when windows are single glazed.

Adjustable Ventilation
The Altherm SashVent is a conveniently operated trickle ventilator that can be incorporated in the bottom of awning or casement sashes. It allows adjustable ventilation with windows securely closed - great for airing stuffy rooms and those vulnerable to condensation and dampness.

Uncluttered Profiles
There is no clutter of grooves or 'die lines' on the window profiles, especially on transoms or mullions. This departure from traditional practice results in a clean, timeless look that won't date your joinery.

Condensation Removed
Condensation is collected and drained to the outside through Altherm's unobtrusive condensation channel at sill level.

Decorative Patterns
Colonial or federation glazing bars can be added to awning and casement windows (and fixed lights) to give an extra touch of elegance.

BI-FOLD WINDOWS
For dramatic wide opening, Altherm bi-fold windows are the way to go.

Expansive Views
They open up the full expanse of outside views and range from two to six panels wide. With the six-panel option unobstructured opening of four metres is possible.

Weather Tight
There's no worry about weatherproofing - Altherm bi-folds have panel-to-panel bulb seals on the sides to keep out the elements.

Double Glazing
The Altherm bi-fold system is designed to comfortably carry heavy panels, so double glazing is no problem.

Coloured Hardware
Hinges, D-pulls and locks can be coloured to match the windows.

Strength
Altherm Bi-fold windows don't skimp on strength – they have a strong, box section design.

GREENHOUSE WINDOWS
Altherm greenhouse windows perk up a room with a light and airy feel. They add space and warmth to the living area.

Kitchens Plus
They're ideal in kitchens above benches but can also find a place in other living areas, especially when built as corner windows.

Sashes
Opening windows can be awnings or casements either side of the unit.

Strong Construction
Altherm greenhouse windows use corner gussets to make sure that the frame is rigid and secure.

BOX WINDOWS
These project out from the wall and are ideal for giving a room a more spacious feel.

Options
There are several design options - the standard format with an elevated base, a corner window to maximise light entry, or a full height unit from floor to eave.

Window Seats
Corner box windows can create a delightful environment for window seats.

Secure Ventilation
Secure background ventilation is possible through the use of Altherm SashVents at the bottom of opening sashes.

BAY WINDOWS
Bays are a timeless window design that can enhance both the look and living area of a home.

Options
Bay windows can have full height glazing for maximum light and warmth or be top glazed with a cladding base.

Colonial Bars
Colonial glazing bars are available to give a touch of 'old world' tradition to Altherm bay windows.

Opening
Bays can include most sash types, with sliding or hinged doors possible in the front panel of full height units.
